Strain gauges
Strain gauge transducers, gluing processes and capsulation methods in the forefront of development.
Gluetec designs strain gauges and transducers in the forefront of development, made to last millions of measurements with retained accuracy. Applying unique capsulation methods and gluing processes we are pushing the boundaries of strain gauge application. For our clients this might entail one thing in particular. In places where interference-free measurement once was impossible, new opportunities await.
Strain gauges are commonly used in thousands of different areas. At a closer look, it is easy to understand why. The technology is relatively affordable and is applicable on most constructions with a reliable result. Strain gauges can be found in custom made transducer elements, in calibration of load cells or force transducers, or measuring supporting element in buildings. One of the challenges that have limited the possibilities of this technology in the past has been the application on complex surfaces and very small areas such as cylinders or holes. Thanks to unique encapsulation methods and gluing processes, Gluetec provides mounting solutions of elements and full bridge strain gauges on concave and convex surfaces. We also offer solutions for measurements in and extremely small objects down to a radius of two millimetres.
With product-specific design and high demands on quality and accuracy, we offer our clients assurance throughout the entire cycle. Our process includes full traceability in all stages – from materials to gluing and soldering to final inspection. Pleas contact us for more information.
