GLUETEC SORSELE ATTAINS ISO 9001 & 14001 CERTIFICATION

During the winter of 2017/18, Gluetec Sorsele has implemented ISO 9001 and 14001 – the leading international standard for quality and environmental management systems. Becoming compliant with the ISO standards are a part of our commitment to continuously making improvements within our processes and adapting to client needs. ”In essence, an ISO certification audit is proof that the organization strives to constantly improve itself” says Anne Morley, responsible auditor at the accreditation body A3Cert.  

The certification process began in the fall of 2017. Becoming compliant with ISO 14001:2015 and 9001:2015 means that the quality management and environmental management systems at Gluetec Sorsele deliver an international standard. This enables us to deliver resource effective and quality-assured processes – as well as peace of mind for our clients.

– We do put a lot of emphasis on constantly developing and enhancing our internal processes. The ISO certifications are proof that our systematic quality work keeps delivering on a high level, CEO Helena Back says.

The external certification audit was performed by A3Cert. Auditor in charge Anne Morley describes the Gluetec ISO certification process:

– The audit concluded that the quality and environmental management systems were well developed and of high standard. The management is dedicated and staff members are informed and involved in the system. There is a large emphasis on increasing delivery precision.

Anne Morley explains that a certification audit essentially is evidence that the organization is committed to constant improvement:

– The most important aspect of this process is commitment, especially that of the management, a willingness to work through the management system and incorporating the whole organization in the process. An important reason for having external audits is the pressure from the certification body, enforcing the organization to maintain and develop the management system.

The certifications are valid for three years and annual audits will be performed by A3Cert.
