Once again, we have the honor of celebrating 20 years of experience and expertise in various operations of wire strain technology, where Gluetec has recognized and celebrated employees Helena Back and Ulrica Öhrnell.

A little over twenty years ago, Helena was on parental leave with her first son and received a visit from the then-production manager, who congratulated her on the birth of her son, who was 8 months old at the time. In passing, the production manager mentioned that they were likely to recruit for the production team at the company. Helena became curious, called in, and was invited for a visit. She was then offered a trial position, which she accepted, and the following week the father took over the parental leave and Helena started in production.

Helena says that time flies when you’re having fun! She has enjoyed working there very much over all these years. She describes the company as familial, with good colleagues, a nice and quiet industrial work environment, where she, together with others at the company, has been involved in influencing and developing the company into what it is today.

Ulrica had worked for 12 years at Gargnäs Elteknik and was advised by the then-CEO, Anders Grundström, to contact Lena Gisslén at Gluetec. So she did, Ulrica called Lena, who was so happy to hear from her and said she was warmly welcome! Ulrica was then offered and accepted a trial position in production and started at the company shortly thereafter.

Ulrica also describes it as a very familial company with a strong sense of community, where there is open communication and a feeling of being involved in the development and work environment.

The jubilarians were celebrated with balloons, cake, flowers, and also a choice of a weekend trip for two.
