CONFLICTS MINERALS POLICY.<\/h2>\n

Gluetec supports the intentions behind \u201cOECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas<\/span><\/a>\u201d.<\/p>\n

The primary purpose of the OECD Guide is to increase transparency, strengthen human rights and reduce conflicts related to mineral mining and processing in conflict-affected areas.<\/p>\n

This Guidance covers Tin, Tantalum and Tungsten, their ores and mineral derivatives, and Gold, mined in the area of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) or its 9 neighbouring countries (Angola, Zambia, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, Uganda, South Sudan, Central African Republic, and the Republic of the Congo).<\/p>\n

These minerals are used in the Electronics Industry, which Gluetec is part of. Although Gluetec do not use any such minerals as raw materials in our own production, they could be present in some of the products and materials provided through our supply chain and therefore be present in our products. Gluetec is committed to sourcing responsibly and therefore try to identify and eliminate Conflict Minerals in our supply chain, should they be present.<\/p>\n

As a due diligence method, we use the Conflict Minerals Reporting Template (CMRT)<\/span><\/a> developed by RMI ( www.responsiblemineralsinitiatives.org). This template is sent to relevant suppliers as a part of our annual supplier review. Failure to respond or reporting a use of conflict minerals originating from facilities that are considered to be \u201cnon-conflict free\u201d, will trigger Gluetec to take appropriate actions to transition to a \u201cconflict free\u201d supply.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div>
